| I have always been a handbag fanatic, so designing and creating bags is a passion, rather than a job. When a new design idea "hits", it is so exciting! My love of fabrics and crafts eventually resulted in the creation of my small, home based business, Purses by Pat. Each handbag is handmade by me and can be personalized with embroidered designs, initials, etc.

| In the spring of 2005, with a suggestion from my son, Scott, who was then a student at Randolph-Macon College, I contacted their bookstore manager, showed her the handbags and was given permission to use their logo on handbags to be sold in the bookstore. Since then, I have become licensed to produce collegiate items bearing the Va. Tech, University of Va. and James Madison University logos.

| In addition to handbags, I offer personalized koozies, towels and baby items. These make perfect gifts for birthdays, graduations, shower gifts or just a "special treat" for yourself!
